About MTN Overseas Top-Up
Sales of the MTN UK Top up began in London August 2005. Since then, a distribution network of well over 20,000 outlets in UK and Ireland that retail the top up products has been established.
Sochitel UK Ltd is the overseas office for the sale, distribution and marketing of MTN Overseastop up and related products/services. Sochitel is licensed by Nomiworld Ltd; MTN Nigeria's sole overseas trade partner.
In November 2006, MTN extended NomiWorld's license to cover N. America and the rest of Europe. Distribution partners in N. America with over 150,000 distribution outlets have been approached to retail the products.
Sochitel has partnered with MTN Nigeria to offer a unique service that allows Nigerians and others living in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and other countries to buy and send airtime for their friends and families back home in Nigeria.
How does it work?

1. Visit any of our affiliate stores, or Buy online for your local calling card outlet to purchase from a range of airtime denominations.
2. Pay for any voucher denomination you want.
These can be in £2.50, £8.50, £17.00 at PayPoint and in £2.50, £5, £10 & £20 Physical cards sold at affiliate stores.
3. Text the 12 digit PIN followed by * and the MTN Number to 07950 080 822. i.e. 123456789132*08031234567
4. The recipient’s account is credited Instantly! and they are free to make calls.
